Vortex Duster (1697-8S)
What is the Vortex Duster (1697-8S)?
Vortex 360° is a high velocity, nonflammable compressed air duster used to provide a pressurized blast, knocking loose dust and dirt in a number of industrial applications including cleaning and opening up tight apertures in an SMT stencils and PCB assembly.
Suitable for electronics manufacturing and assembly applications
High spray force
Vortex Duster generates about 60% more force compared to other HFC-134a dusters allowing for more efficient removal of dust and debris in hard-to-reach spaces. A higher spray force is achieved by controlling output through both the valving and the sprayer.
Designed for industrial applications
Unlike other compressed air cans that restricts spray direction and rotation of the can to avoid spraying vapors of liquid propellants, Vortex 360° (1697-8S) is an invertible can. It is designed to spray only air while tilted and turned in any direction.
Difference between the Vortex Duster and retail dusters
Unlike retail dusters that contain additives (bitterants) that leave harmful residues on sensitive surfaces. Techspray's dusters are bitterant free hence safe for use to blast away dust and dirt in sensitive electronics.

Additional useful Information
How should you use the Vortex Duster (1697-10s) aerosol cleaner?
The can of duster must be held in an upright position when spraying. Do not tilt can more than 40 degrees during spraying operation or shake during use. Before use, press actuator to clear valve of any liquid product. Extension tube can be used to remove dust in tight areas. Use short bursts to prevent cooling of can.
Identifying the shelf life of the product
The shelf life of a product can be found on either the technical data sheet (TDS), available on the product page, or by looking on the certificate on conformance (COC). The COC can be downloaded by going to https://www.techspray.com/coc. Once you have the shelf life, you will need to add it to the manufacture date for a use-by date. The manufacture date can be identified by the batch number. The batch code used on most of our products are manufacture dates in the Julian Date format. The format is YYDDD, where YY = year, DDD = day. For example, 19200 translates to the 200th day of 2019, or July 19, 2019. This webpage explains and provides charts to help interpret our batch numbers: https://www.techspray.com/batch-codes.
